In June Tory Burch won a lawsuit against 232 websites selling counterfeit Tory Burch accessories - the company was awarded $164 million in damages, the largest sum thought to have ever been issued to a fashion company, according to Women's Wear Daily.
Tory graduated with a degree in art history before working in public relations and advertising. She's not a designer, "she's a brander, stylist and clotheshorse" - which is perhaps what makes the TB brand so engaging... it's not just about the clothes.
